Solar System Notification Alert Processing System
SNAPS
SNAPS is the Solar System Notification Alert Processing System. SNAPS ingests alerts from all-sky surveys such as ZTF and LSST and to produce a database of measured and derived properties for tens of thousands of asteroids. SNAPS is designed to enable a wide range of Solar System science cases, and both individual objects of interest and global properties of asteroids may be extracted from the SNAPS database to inform our understanding of the formation and evolution of the Solar System. SNAPS is supported by the National Science Foundation under grants 1849559 and 2042155, NAU's Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR), and the Arizona Board of Regents' Regents Innovation Fund (the latter two as applications of the Arizona Technology and Research Initiative Fund, TRIF).
